The main goal of the Association of Enterprises UKRMETALURGPROM (hereinafter Association) is to provide the most favorable conditions for the effective activity and stabile development of the Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Complex (UMMC).

The main task of the Association is to participate in formation and realization of long-termed, middle-termed and current programs of UMMC development taking into consideration the global steel market conjuncture and priority trends of the Ukrainian industrial complex.

Among members of the Association all the steelmaking plants of Ukraine, iron-ore processing and coking enterprises, R&D institutes, educational establishments and commercial entities whose activity is related to the ferrous metallurgy.

 

The Association is cooperating with Ukrainian and European entities within programs of the Green Metallurgy, Smart Specialization Strategy, European Steel Association (EUROFER), participating actively in profile committees activity of the Worldsteel Association etc.

The affiliate member of the Worldsteel Association since 2016, the associate member of the European Steel Association (EURFER) since 2023.

The Association representatives are permanent participants of the OECD Steel committee, members of Inter-Governmental bilateral commissions of the trade and economic cooperation, participants of various expert and working groups under Ministries and other governmental bodies of Ukraine etc.

President of the Association is Mr. Oleksandr Kalenkov.
