On 6^th August 2019 the Euro-Asian Economic Commission, basing on the preliminary investigation, made the final decision concerning the implementation of the special safeguard measure in the form of a special quota towards hot-rolled flat products, imported to the EAEU, particularly, from South Korea and Ukraine. Extra-quota volumes are to be subject of 20% duty.

This measure is valid from 1^st December 2019 till 30^th November 2020. The total volume of quotas for two categories is up to 1,328 Mt.

The mechanism of quota distribution between exporters is being specified.
